Art Center is situated in two separate ex-manufacture buildings with totally 2000 m2.
Since 1991 during privatization process all buildings has been sold to more than 20 private householders and each has different perspectives for the future. Some of buildings has been fully renovated, some partly. Some of them has been rented to offices, storage companies, banks, workshops, shops, gyms and some are still empty having the same face as 50 years ago.
There are around 15 studios located in two of different ex-manufacture buildings.
The number of studios are increasingly growing since last two years due to resident artists activities.
VEF is 35 min from city center by feet, 15 by bicycle, tram, bus or car.
Ex-factory area consists of more than 50 from 2 up to 5 storey buildings.
It has been succesfuly used as a location for movie and photoshoots.
